Our leadership team is passionate about delivering high-value primary care to you and your loved ones living abroad. Starting in Gambia, we are on a mission to transform at-home healthcare. We connect local, on-the-ground expert doctors with patients using modern technology and care management tools to drive truly exceptional care.

Born in Banjul Gambia, Lamin is currently an Emergency Medicine resident at Penn and former founder of 2 previous Startups including White Coat Strategists and Echo AI. Lamin formed Diaspora Health with a vision to create modern vision of healthcare, led first-and-foremost by Africans. He also at BCG Consulting and was a Business Analyst and consultant for the value based bundled payments company Remedy Partners (Signify Health). Lamin is passionate about building solutions for sub-Saharan Africa and immigrant diaspora populations.

Issa is an MBA and MS Health Policy candidate at the Darden School of Business and Stanford University and was born in Guinea, Conakry. Issa has consulting experience at Bain & Company, and previously worked as a Research Engineer at IBM’s Center for Computational Health. While at IBM, Issa lived in Kenya in 2019 and 2021 working with providers and educators to open a medical clinic in Kiambu and provide resources to vulnerable children in Kericho. He is passionate about advancing health equity in emerging market economies.

Chris is a second-year at the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) double majoring in Nursing and Nutrition Sciences. At Diaspora Health, he works as head of product development and Marketing Strategy. At Penn, he also works as the Chief Executive Officer of Penn Student Agencies, a portfolio of entrepreneurial student-run businesses. His interests reside in preventative medicine, fitness, and healthcare innovation.

Josh is a senior at Wharton studying Finance and Business Analytics with a Minor in Africana Studies. He has experience working in management consulting and was a team leader for Black Wharton Consulting, a student-led club that works with black-owned businesses in the Philadelphia area. Raised in Baltimore by parents who immigrated from the Caribbean, Joshua is passionate about improving access to healthcare for members of the African diaspora.
